This new classroom space complete with support spaces for an adjacent existing 3 season metal sculpture fabrication space, features a continuous desk that provides the opportunity for smaller metal sculpture making. The inverted cantilevered roof is supported on one end by a continuous curved steel tube beam from which the low end of the roof sprawls upward gesturing to the tranquil forest beyond. The beam’s curvature both embodies the idea of metal sculpture, while providing unobstructed contemplative views to the forested hill beyond.
